Times-News seeks All-Area nominations

CUMBERLAND — The Times-News is asking baseball and softball head coaches to submit nominations for the allarea team to the sports department.



Coaches should turn in names and relevant stats for any players they would like to nominate.



Please submit any nominations for the baseball team to Mike Mathews at mmathews@times-news.com, and direct any softball nominations to Chris Appel at cappel@timesnews.com.

FH football season tickets go on sale

CUMBERLAND — Fort Hill High School football season tickets will go on sale for all holders on June 16-19, June 23-26, June 30-July 2. All tickets must be picked up by July 2 with no exceptions due to vacations and preparation of the next school year. The tickets should be picked up in the main office of the school from 8 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Those who no longer wish to keep their season tickets are asked to notify the school as soon as possible. Chaneysville sets JCP Soccer sign-ups

CHANEYSVILLE — Chaneysville will hold JCP Soccer League sign-ups at the Hidden Springs Pool on Monday, from 6 to 7 p.m., and at the Chaneysville Ballfield on Saturday, June 14, and Thursday, June 19, from 6 to 7 p.m.



Players are divided into three divisions based on age. New players need to bring a copy of their birth certificate to registration. For more information contact Troy Cessna at 814-767-8106.

Ellerslie schedules JCP Soccer sign-ups

ELLERSLIE — Ellerslie will hold JCP Soccer League sign-ups at the Ellerslie Fire Hall on Sunday, June 8, Thursday, June 12 and Monday, June 16 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. each evening.



Players are divided into three divisions based on age. New players need to bring a copy of their birth certificate to registration. All children entering kindergarten are eligible to play.
