Hipsley, Emerick power Calvary over Fulton

— CRESAPTOWN  — Karly Hipsley posted a double-double of 19 rebounds and 18 points and Payton Emerick scored a career-high 20 points as Calvary frustrated Fulton County during a 47-24 win Friday in Cresaptown.

Hipsley hit on six field goals and went 6 for 10 at the foul line to climb to 18 points, and also led the team with three assists. Emerick added a 3 for 6 night at the line to eight field goals to finish with 20.

Brooke Ricker added 11 rebounds to the Eagles’ totals.

Fulton got 14 of its 24 points from Jennae Gordon.

Calvary (9-4) returns to the Mason-Dixon Christian Conference on Tuesday when it looks for a little revenge on the road against Faith. Faith was a 43-34 winner over the Eagles on Dec. 13.
