Petersburg shuts out Tygarts Valley, 13-0

PETERSBURG, W.Va. — Corey Pool pitched a complete game for Petersburg in a 13-0 win over Tygarts Valley in their season opener Friday at Petersburg.

The Vikings accounted for 11 hits, led by Bret Real, who had three hits and three runs scored. Brandon George went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs. Trevor Harman and Jessie Earle each had two RBIs as well.

Brandon‚ÄąPritt allowed seven runs in the first two innings and got the loss.

Petersburg (1-0) plays at Keyser Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
