Fort Hill playoff tickets go on sale today

CUMBERLAND — Tickets to the Manchester Valley at Fort Hill Class 1A playoff football game will be on sale today, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the main office at Fort Hill High School. Season ticket holders are entitled to sit in their reserved seats for the game which kicks off Friday, 7 p.m., at Greenway Avenue Stadium.

Keyser tickets on sale in school office

KEYSER, W.Va. — Tickets to the Keyser at Fairmont Senior Class AA playoff football game will be on sale in the main office at Keyser High School daily until 3:45 p.m. The advance sale at the office will conclude by Friday at noon. The game kicks off at 7:30 p.m. at East West Stadium in Fairmont.

Mtn. Ridge middle softball to sign up

FROSTBURG — Any girl currently attending Mount Savage Middle School or Westmar Middle School and are in the 6th, 7th or 8th grade is eligible to play for the Mountain Ridge district middle school softball team.

Registrations will run 6 to 7:45 p.m., Monday Dec. 2, Wednesday, Dec. 11, and Wednesday, Dec. 18 at the Frostburg Library in the John Bambacus Community Room. For information call Iosefa Pua’auli at 804-898-2469, Craig Bridges at 240-727-0975 or David Robertson at 240-727-1294.

Fearer high school divisions to meet

FROSTBURG — There will be a organizational meeting for the high school divisions of the Fearer Memorial Church basketball League on Monday, Nov. 18, 7:15 p.m., at the Frostburg Library on Main Street in Frostburg.

League schedule, bylaws and other matters will be discussed. Any church or coach that has an interest in this year;s season should attend. Those unable to attend should contact Randy Sterne, league president, at 301-729-6416.

Any boy or girl who attends church regularly and wishes to participate but does not have a team to play on should also call Sterne. This will mark the 66th year of operation for the Fearer League.
