Eagles beat Rotary

CRESAPTOWN — Cresaptown Eagles took advantage of eight walks to defeat Rotary, 10-7, at Memorial Field Wednesday night.

They won despite having five hits and committing seven errors. Dalton Torbet hit two doubles and Cole Holler singled twice to lead the Eagles.

Ricky Colbert came in to pitch in the second inning for Rotary and struck out 14 of the 15 hitters he faced. He hit two singles as well. Austin Farrell doubled and singled in the loss.

The Cresaptown Eagles (9-4-1) play Greg’s Auto today at Memorial Field at 5:30 p.m. and the Rotary play Twigg’s Plumbing & Heating at Hamilton Field at 6 p.m.
