CRESAPTOWN — Wayne Smith drove in three runs to lead Cumberland Optimists to a 13-3 rout of Twigg’s Plumbing & Heating Tuesday at Hamilton Field.
Micah Ludwick and Rean Smith combined to allow three runs on just two hits in the five inning game. Shawn Haines drove in two on a double and a single, and Payton Dehaven singled three times.
Jordan Warner accounted for both of Twigg’s hits with two singles.
Optimist (6-6) play Fort Ashby Lions Thursday at the Hot Stove Complex at 6 p.m. Twigg’s will play Friday at Hamilton Field against Rotary.
KMK Insurance 10, Keyser VFW 8
POTOMAC PARK — Ryan Miller drove in four runs and Logan Milburn fanned nine through five innings during KMK Insurance’s win over Keyser VFW Monday at Memorial Field.
Milburn worked the first five innings and allowed seven runs while picking up his nine strikeouts. Blake Milburn entered in the sixth inning and struck out five while earning the save.
Miller picked up his four RBIs on two singles, and Blake Milburn finished with two singles on two RBI. Logan Milburn and Blake Geatz both had two singles.
For Keyser, Nick Dolly knocked in three with a double and a single and Matt Combs had three RBIs with two singles. Vinnie Cuthbertson doubled, singled and had three runs, and Beau Horner and Matt Liller had one double each.
KMK (8-4) plays tonight at Broadford Park against Madigan’s Auto Sales. Keyser (5-3) will play Salisbury Legion on Thursday in Keyser.
Cork’s Cars 15, Hobo’s 5
CRESAPTOWN — Broc Lohr scored three runs and drove in two more for Cork’s Cars in a 15-5 victory over Hobo’s Restaurant at Holler Field Tuesday.
Lohr did his damage with two doubles. On the mound he threw all five innings, allowing two earned runs on four hits. He struck out seven and walked three.
Dakota Hinebaugh drove in three with two singles. Payton Kennedy doubled and singled, bringing in two. Ian DeWitt hit an RBI single and scored two runs.
Cody Lohr singled twice in the loss.
Cork’s Cars (9-4) play Keyser Moose in Oakland Thursday at 7 p.m.

CRESAPTOWN — Garrett Weaver ripped the go-ahead RBI single in the bottom of the sixth to spark Ridgeley VFW in an 8-4 defeat of Greg’s Auto at Memorial Field Tuesday.
Noah Bible tripled. Blake Rhodes hit a double and a single. Stafford Cessna raked a double in the win.
