Calvary blanks Frankfort, 5-0

CRESAPTOWN  — Zack Nelson scored a pair of goals in the first 40 minutes to help Calvary to a 4-0 halftime lead and a 5-0 win over Frankfort Monday in Cresaptown.

Austin Heavner was assisted by Josh Snyder in the 12th minute to set the Eagles with a 1-0 lead before Nelson scored two consecutive goals to put his team up 3-0. His first goal was assisted by Caleb Snyder and the second by Josh Snyder.

Josh Snyder finished off the half with an unassisted goal to make it 4-0.

Levi Hartsock had an unassisted goal in the 30th minute of the second half to move the score to its final of 5-0.

Matt Dillow made four saves in Calvary’s eighth shutout of the year. Ross Conley had 10 stops for the Falcons.

Calvary took 20 total shots to Frankfort’s four. It also led 7-3 in corner kicks.

The Eagles (14-2) play tonight at Faith.
