W. Md. Catholic Hall  induction Saturday

CUMBERLAND — The Western Maryland Catholic Athletic Hall of Fame will hold induction ceremonies Saturday at Bishop Walsh School. A reception hour will begin at 6:30 p.m. with dinner at 7:30 p.m.

This year’s inductees include Pat O’Rourke, class of 1968; Bill Raymond and Jim Judy, class of 1971; Ray DiGilarmo, class of 1973; Kevin Carcella, class of 1978; Kathleen Collett, class of 1987; Mike Dorman and Lee Mahle, class of 1992; and Eric Perlozzo, class of 2002.

LaVale Lions Pee Wee signup set for Saturday

LAVALE — LaVale Lions Pee Wee football is holding signups on Saturday, May 18 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the LaVale library. Players and cheerleaders ages 6-11 as of Sept. 1 are eligible to participate. Flintstone soccer signups slated

FLINTSTONE — The Flintstone Civic Association will hold JCP Soccer signups at the Flintstone ballfield on May 19, 20, and 22 at 6 p.m.

The varsity division is for boys and girls ages 11-14 as of Sept. 1 in grades 6-8.  The jayvee for ages 8-10 in grades 3-5. The B Division is for ages 5-7  entering grades K-2.
