PSC sweeps South

KEYSER, W.Va. — Jamie Miller and Brandon Cordell earned complete-game wins and David Kimbrough went 4 for 7 on the day as Potomac State swept CCAC-South 10-1 and 12-2 in college baseball Saturday at Golden Park.

Miller, a freshman and former standout at East Hardy, allowed just three hits and one walk in the first game, raising his record to 3-1.

Charlie Creighton led the offense with two doubles and four RBIs. Kimbrough, Jamison Jones, Scott Fox and Alex Levitan had two hits as Potomac State finished with 14.

In the second game, Cordell allowed only two unearned runs, walked two and struck out five to improve to 3-0.

Zach Stolipher had two hits and three RBIs and Frankie Wilson two doubles and two RBIs. Elliott McCummings tripled and doubled Kimbrough had two singles.

Potomac State (17-10) outhit CCAC-South 27-8 in the two games and wil host Westmoreland today in a 1 p.m. doubleheader.
