Shenandoah defeats FSU

FROSTBURG — Samantha Sisson scored four goals and dished out two assists and Shenandoah grabbed an early lead and kept it the rest of the way to beat Frostburg State, 15-5, spoiling the Bobcats women’s lacrosse home opener.

Sisson had two goals and two assists in the first half as Shenandoah (2-1) built a 7-3 halftime lead. The Hornets tacked on eight more goals in the second half.

Liz Bereit had three goals and two assists for Shenandoah, which led 29-18 in shots.

Katelyn Kesecker and Taylor Cassatt scored two goals for Frostburg State (2-2).

Frostburg will host Wesley on Sunday at noon.
