LAVALE — Zach Folmer rolled a 589 set, Tim Arnold had a 576 and Garrett Shoemaker a 565 as the Frankfort boys topped Mountain Ridge, 20-16, in a roll-off for the Allegany County Interscholastic Bowling League’s adjusted division championship Wednesday at The Bowler.
Both teams finished the regular season with 12 1/2 - 5 1/2 records in the adjusted division, forcing the roll-off to break the tie.
At the end of the second game of the roll-off the teams were still tied, 12-12.
Mountain Ridge’s Matthew Clark had the high set, 682, and game, 233. Teammate Patrick Russell rolled a 605 set.
Today at White Oak Lanes, Mountain Ridge and Calvary Christian will have a roll-off to determine the girls adjusted division champion. Both were 12 1/2 - 5 1/2 in the regular season.
The league’s year-ending Showcase Tournament will be Saturday at Rainbow Lanes in Keyser. Teams should report by 11:15 a.m.
