Mowrey, Trojans blank Keyser, 4-0

KEYSER, W.Va. — Ryan Mowrey contributed to all four of Hampshire’s goals, scoring one with three assists in a 4-0 shutout at Keyser on Tuesday.

Mowrey set-up Jordan Richardson to give the Trojans the lead in the 27:00 mark of the first half. He then assisted Zach Davis two minutes later to make it 2-0 at halftime.

Richardson scored again three minutes into the second stanza. Mowrey capped it off with an assist from Davis.

Isaak Lambert saved seven shots for Hampshire on nine attempts. The Trojans had 15 shots-on-goal, seven halted by Justice Courrier.

Hampshire (2-1) plays at Bishop Walsh today at 4 p.m.

Calvary    2

HAGERSTOWN — Jaden Lee scored two goals for Broadfording in a win over Calvary in is season opener at Broadfording on Tuesday.

Lee’s goals, both unassisted, came at 26:00 and 13:00 in the first half to give Broadfording a 2-0 advantage at the break.

Calvary rallied to tie it with two unassisted goals from Caleb Snyder at 30:00 and 27:00. Steven Glasbel scored with 16:00 left for the eventual game-winner.

The Eagles had 15 shots-on-goal and Matt Dillow had two saves.

Calvary (0-1) hosts Grace Friday at 4:30 p.m.
