of 25-20, 25-21 and 25-23.

April Wolfe added six kills

and 11 digs, Caitlyn Collins

had 14 assists, four aces and

six digs and Brianna Teets

seven kills for the Bobcats (6-

23, 3-3 CAC). Frostburg, which

has won three of its last four

matches, moved up to fifth

place in the conference standings.

Potomac State and Northern

Virginia battled to the wire

Tuesday night, with Northern

Virginia prevailing in the fifth

set by 18-16 in college women’s

volleyball.

Northern Virginia won by

scores of 25-19, 23-25, 25-17, 23-

25 and 18-16.

Stephanie Cornachia had an

exceptional night for the Catamounts

with 11 kills while hitting

at 82 percent. Alyssia

Whitacre had 18 service points

with seven aces and 16 digs,

Peyton Smith added 35 assists

and 13 digs, Morgan Mongold

had 11 kills and 13 digs,

Michaela Osbourne nine

points and 14 digs and Julia

Morikawa seven points and 14

digs for Potomac State.

The Catamounts (20-7) visit

Garrett on Thursday night.
