Moose collects 10th win

MOUNT SAVAGE — Nate Souders had three hits and scored twice for the Cumberland Moose in a 8-3 defeat of Barrelville Outdoor Club in Rec League baseball Wednesday at Dickel Field.

Souders doubled twice and singled. Zack Steckman hurled a complete game, allowing three runs on seven hits and four walks while fanning five. He singled twice and scored twice. Michael Wright also singled twice and had two RBIs.

Corey Shroyer hit four singles for Barrelville ODC.

Both teams end their regular seasons today. Barrelville (7-5) faces Personal Best at Femi Field at 6 p.m., while the Moose (10-2) plays at Casselman Valley at 7:30 p.m.

The Moose (10-2) plays Casselman Valley tonight at Salisbury at 7:30.  Barrelville ODC (7-5) takes on Personal Best today at Femi Field at 6 p.m. in the last regular season games for both squads.
