Mountain Ridge Mat Club to
FROSTBURG — The Mountain Ridge Mat Club will hold registration for the 2012-13 wrestling season Thursday and Nov. 12, 6 until 7:30 p.m. each night, in the main lobby of Mountain Ridge High School. Registration is open to students in grades 1-8 in the Mountain Ridge School district. Practices will begin on Nov. 19.

FROSTBURG — High school girls soccer coaches will meet to select this year’s All-Area team on Thursday at 7 p.m., at Mountain Ridge High School. All teams should have a representative attend.

CUMBERLAND — Bishop Walsh school is seeking a head coach for the girls varsity basketball team.

Allegany to induct three into its Sports Hall of Fame
Allegany High School has three new members in its Sports Hall of Fame with the announcement of Donald “D.J.” Jessie, class of 1994; Jimmy O’Neal, class of 1991; and Tonya B. Wharton, class of 1992, being selected as the school’s 33rd enshrinement class, bringing the total membership to 111 inducted since the hall was instituted in 1980.
