KEYSER, W.Va. — Andrew Meeker drew a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the 10th inning to send Potomac State to an 8-7 victory over Sinclair Community College Sunday at Golden Park.

The walk, which scored Elliott McCummings, was the eighth lead change of the day.

McCummings led the Potomac State offense with three doubles. He doubled in the sixth, eighth and 10th innings.

Evan Mitchell got the win in relief, allowing one run and striking out three in the top of the 10th.

McCummings, Tre Porter and Korey Foltz combined for eight hits.

Porter had an RBI single in a two-run first inning, and Jamison Jones had an RBI double and Billy Sager an RBI single in the fifth. Sinclair went ahead 6-4 in the sixth on a bases-loaded tripple by Mark Carpenter.

McCummings doubled and scored on a passed ball in the eighth, and Foltz began the bottom of the ninth with a walk, was bunted to second by Andrew Kowalo, and reached third on a groundout by pinch-hitter Alex Levitan. Jones then reached on an infield single to deep short, scoring McCummings with the tying run.

Alex Young walked and eventually scored on a wild pitch to put Sinclair back on top in the top of the 10th. In the bottom half, Sager drew a leadoff walk and tied it on a double by McCummings. After an intentional walk to Connor Bastaich, Porter reached on a bunt single that loaded the bases, and McCummings scored on Meeker’s walkoff walk.

Potomac State (5-6) begins a five-game trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., with a doubleheader against Cumberland County on Wednesday at 1 p.m.
