Bethany whips Frostburg

— BETHANY, W.Va. — Bethany jumped on Frostburg State early, had six scorers reach double figures, and routed the Bobcats 96-55 in college men’s basketball Tuesday night.

Brady Pacific led the Bison (8-1) with 19 points on 7 of 9 shooting, including a 4 of 6 effort from the three-point line. Nick Wilcox had 13 points, 10 rebounds and five assists, and Reece Mabery 12 points, seven steals and six assists.

The Bobcats (3-7) struggled from the floor, falling behind 17-3 with just over 10 minutes gone on the first half clock. It was 36-23 at halftime.

Royce Hunsberger came off the bench to lead the Bobcats with 14 points. Chris Jackson had 12 points and four assists.

Frostburg hosts Penn State Altoona on Dec. 22.
