Florence D. Thompson [Cumberland]

— Florence Daisy Thompson, 90, of Cumberland, died on Friday, May 2, 2008 at WMHS-Memorial Campus.
Born Feb. 12, 1918 in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur Mowen and Mary (Spence) Mowen. Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Thompson on June 26, 2001; her son, Richard “Dick” Thompson; and her daughter, Betty Smith.
Mrs. Thompson was a homemaker and a former employee of Crystal Laundry Company. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Mrs. Thompson is survived by a nephew, Elmer Hornbrook, with whom she resided.
Services will be private.
