Richard D. Morrison [Falling Waters]

Richard Dale Morrison, 73, of Falling Waters, died Friday, May 2, 2008 at the Berkeley Springs Nursing and Rehab Center.

Born April 23, 1935 in Piedmont, W.Va., he was the son of the late William Dale Morrison and Ollie Frances (Evans) Morrison.

Mr. Morrison known as Dick “Drywall” Morrison was a very well known drywall finisher in Hagerstown. He was a member of the Redman Club in Williamsport, Md., the Moose Club in Hagerstown and an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is survived by his son, Richard “Rick” Wills and wife Susan, Cumberland, Md.; two brothers, Gary Morrison and wife Cheryl, Springfield, W.Va. and Kenneth Morrison and friend Christine Yeakle, Mt Savage, Md.; two sisters, Barbara Pease and husband Bill, New Philadelphia, Ohio and Darlene Burkett and friend Richard Clippinger, Chambersburg, Pa.; two grandsons, Shane and Branden Wills; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, PA, 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, (AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com), on Monday, May 5, 2008 from 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Ted Marsh officiating.

Interment will be in Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
