Elizabeth D. Tosh [Greene]

Elizabeth D. Tosh, 59, of Greene, died on Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at her home.

Survivors include her husband, Richard; daughter, Meagan; son, Ian; daughter-in-law Melissa; two sisters, Bert and Ilsa; and brother-in-law, Jack.

Beth touched the lives of people as a foster parent, a social worker and child advocate in the Connecticut Juvenile Court System, a member of the Vermont House of Representatives, a delegate to the Soviet Union for "Bridges for Peace", a Human Resource Specialist, and through her involvement in the United Church of Christ.

A memorial service was held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First Congregational Church.

A committal service and burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Cumberland, on Monday, May 5 at 1 p.m.
