William T. Allen [Largo]

LARGO, Fla. - William T. Allen, 77, of Largo, died April 29, 2008.

He was born May 19, 1931 in Eckhart, Md., the son of the late William T. and Anna (Connelly) Allen.

He was a four year U.S. Navy veteran having served in the Korean War and was employed as a Supervisor at American Home Products in the Echo Division, retiring after 30 years of service.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Anna; three children, Mark Allen of Tarpon Springs, Fla., Douglas Allen and Laura Allen, both of Clearwater, Fla.; four sisters, Eileen Bennett of Escondido, Calif., Eleanor Lemmert and husband Donald of Clearwater, Ruth Bock of Hamilton, Va. and Juanita Broadwater and husband Vernon of Bel Air, Md.

A Memorial Mass was held on May 5, 2008 at St. Cecelia Catholic Church in Florida.

Interment will be in Bay Pines Veterans Cemetery, Largo.
