Kenneth S. Clark [Westernport]

WESTERNPORT - Kenneth Samuel Clark, 79, of 23623 Stoney Run Road, Westernport, passed away Friday, April 25, 2008, at Moran Manor Nursing Home, Westernport.

Born Sept. 17, 1928, at Stoney Run, he was the son of the late Samuel J. and Mary Ellen (Crawford) Clark. Two brothers, Junior Clark and Calvin Clark; and a sister, Mary Ethel Clark, also preceded him in death.

Mr. Clark was a United States Army veteran, having served in Germany during the Korean War era. He was retired from General Motors of Baltimore, and spent the remainder of his life on his farm at Stoney Run in Westernport.

He leaves behind one brother, Paul G. Clark of Westernport; one sister, Norma Lee Carpenter and husband Bill of Westernport; a sister-in-law, Betty J. Clark of Westernport; and numerous nieces and nephews.

At Mr. Clark's request, his body was cremated.

A memorial service will be held at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Saturday, May 10, 2008, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Gary Morris officiating. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from noon to 1 p.m.

Inurnment will be in Philos Cemetery, Westernport.
