Margaret (Hrivnak) Coley [Hagerstown]

HAGERSTOWN - Margaret (Hrivnak) Coley, 79, of Hagerstown, formerly of Somerset, Pa., moved to her heavenly mansion on Sunday, July 13, 2008, at John's Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, after a brief illness.

Our beautiful mother, grandmother and sister is now free of all pain and sorrow and was joyously welcomed by the angels and other famiily and friends who had been waiting for her.

Born July 31, 1928, in Acosta, Pa., she is the daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (Antalik) Hrivnak. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Susan Vargo, Mary Hrivnak and Eleanor Komarinski; and brother, John Hrivnak.

She is survived by her sister, Ann Hrivnak of Acosta; sister-in-law, Florience "Tootie" Hrivnak of Somerset. She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Margie Kline and son-in-law, Steve, of Stephens City, Va., and Brenda Coley of Berwyn Heights; and son, Stephen Coley, of Smithsburg. Margaret was dearly loved by her grandchildren, Kristy Burden of Broken Arrow, Okla.; Steve Coley Jr. and John Coley of Smithsburg; and two great grandchildren, Caleb and Ella Burden of Broken Arrow.

She was among the most gracious and beautiful ladies, always tenderhearted and kind. Her children and grandchildren were often carried by her unshakable faith and she continually inspired her family to never lose hope. She encouraged us all on life's journey and was a shining light which will never dim in our hearts. Our sadness and loss is only consoled by the fact that "In the Presence of the Lord there is great joy and at His right hand there are pleasures forever more" (ps. 17:11).

Services will be conducted at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, (haugerzeigler.com) 494 W. Main St., Somerset, on Wednesday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. M.D. Herring officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home one hour prior to services.

Interment will be in Jenners Crossroads Cemetery.

Contributions may be made to Somerset Church of God, 1020 W. Main St., Somerset, PA 15501.
