Yvonna P. Smalley [Artemas]

ARTEMAS, Pa. — Yvonna P. Smalley, 70, of Silver Mills Road, Artemas, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Md.

She was born on Nov. 17, 1938, in Cumberland, a daughter of the late Harry L. and Ada (Miller) Wigfield.

On Sept. 29, 1984, in Wenonah, N.J., she married Alfred G. Smalley. He survives her along with one son, Dennis Oakman married to May (Smalley), National Park, N.J.; stepdaughters, Barbara married to Bob Snyder, National Park, May married to Dennis Oakman, National Park, Allison Lee, Howell, Mich.; brothers and sisters, Orpha married to Vernon Youngs, Lyons, N.Y., Reta Faye married to Mike Wilson, Fairmont, W.Va., Warren Wigfield married to Patty, Gastonia, N.C., Roger Wigfield married to Ruth, West Chester, Marie Golden, Mc-Connellsburg; eight stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and sister, Reed Wigfield and Pauline Sche-tromph.

Mrs. Smalley was of the Protestant faith.

She was a member of the Artemas American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 0155.

She enjoyed camping.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, at 11 a.m. at the Fairview Christian Church, Artemas, with Pastor Milton Morris officiating.

Burial will be held in Fairview Cemetery, Artemas.
