Cunningham-Darrah wedding vows recited

Cumberland Times-News

CUMBERLAND — Michelle Lynn Darrah and Scott Alan Cunningham were happily married on Oct. 18, 2008, at the First Presbyterian Church in Cumberland. Afterward, the nuptials were celebrated by a dinner ride on the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad with their guests.

Michelle and Scott wish to share their gratitude for such a wonderful day to the following:

•Angie E. Darrah, mother of the bride, and David L. and Freda V. Cunningham, parents of the groom, for their prayers, accountability, standing as attendants and support of all kinds.

•Cynthia C. Speis, sister of the bride, and husband Jamie, and children Atticus, Darrah, Griffith, William and Emmaline Speis for their standing as attendants, constant love, interest and serving on the wedding day in various capacities.

•Stephen Q. Darrah, brother of the bride, for walking Michelle down the aisle, standing as an attendant and praying.

•Kristen L. Cunningham, sister of the groom, for standing as an attendant and offering advice and support.

•The Rev. David Sandvick of the First English Baptist Church for his counseling and officiating the ceremony.

•The Rev. Glenn Cappacchione of the Emmanuel Bethel United Methodist Church for officiating.

•The staff and congregation of the First Presbyterian Church of Cumberland for the use of their beautiful facility and resources.

•The staff and students at the International Beauty School for the lovely coiffeurs and manicures of the attendants.

•The chef at the Holiday Inn, for a great meal.

•Tonya Wright and the staff of the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad for a memorable reception.

•Our guests for blessing us with the gift of their time and company.

•The Lord Jesus Christ for his presence during the day and forever.

The grateful newlyweds honeymooned in London, England, and are currently residing in Wiley Ford, W.Va.
