Everly, Sandvick wedding

FROSTBURG — Kathryn Anne Sandvick and Preston Paul Everly were united in marriage on June 16, 2007. The wedding ceremony took place at First English Baptist Church, with a reception following at City Place, both in Frostburg. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. David Sandvick, father of the bride.
The bride is the daughter of David and Candace Sandvick of Frostburg. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Lois Ferree of Eckhart. The groom is the son of Robert and Fay Everly of Hyndman, Pa. He is the grandson of Mrs. Hilda Snider of Hyndman.
The bride was escorted to the altar by her father. The bridal gown was snow white with elegant floral beading on the front bodice, continuing down to the floor and flowing around to the long flowing train. She wore a white veil trimmed with beads and a crystal and beaded tiara headpiece. The bride carried a bouquet of white roses and pink tiger lilies with a white cascading center bow. She wore a necklace and earrings of pearl and crystals.
The maid of honor and four bridesmaids wore turquoise tea-length dresses. They wore pearl necklaces and earrings, a gift from the bride. Each one carried a bouquet with pink tiger lilies with flowing pink bows.
Serving as the maid of honor for her sister was Kimberly Sandvick. Bridesmaids were Nikki Strother, Erin Fike and Jessica Deremer, friends of the bride, and Colette Davis, sister of the groom. Flower girls were Priscilla Everly and Hannah Everly, nieces of the groom, and Salee Blank, friend of the bride.
Serving as groomsmen were Adam Everly and Robert Everly II, brothers of the groom, and Ryan Strother and Jeremy Sivitts, friends of the groom. Ring bearers were Robert Everly III and Marcus Everly, nephews of the groom, and Jacob Blank, friend of the groom.
Organist for the ceremony was Mary Virginia Alderton. Pianist was JaNel Humbertson. Renee Everly, sister-in-law of the groom, provided the music during the unity candle and unity sand. Guestbook attendants were Rachel Alderton, Katie Blank, Amie Blank and Amy Alderton.
Photography for the wedding was provided by Stan Eisel. Music for the reception was provided by Music Express. The food was catered by Debbie Dunnivan. The wedding cake was baked by Lorenzo’s Bakery of Frostburg.
The bride is a graduate of Beall High School and Frostburg State University and is currently attending Frostburg State University for her master’s degree. She is employed with Allegany County Board of Education as an intervention teacher at Beall Elementary.
The groom is a graduate of Hyndman High School. He is employed by the State of Maryland, Brandenburg Center.
