Wagoner, Wolfe wedding

CUMBERLAND — Jessica Cathryne Wolfe and Shane Lambert Wagoner were united in marriage on June 23, 2007. The wedding ceremony took place at Centre Street Methodist Church, Cumberland, with a reception following at the Cresaptown Eagles, Cresaptown. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Lloyd B. McCanna.

The bride is the daughter of Timothy and Deborah Wolfe of Fort Ashby, W.Va. She is the granddaughter of Cathryne Sisk, also Fort Ashby. The groom is the son of James and Vonda Wagoner of Short Gap, W.Va. He is the grandson of Dorothy Wagoner, Fort Ashby, Robert and Shirley Fox of Stoutsville, Ohio, and Harry and Jan Eisentrout of LaVale.

The bride was escorted to the altar by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

Serving as maid of honor was Abby Wolfe, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kristina Ray and Hannah Myers, friends of the bride, and Shannon Wagoner, sister of the groom. Flower girl was Juliet Wilson, cousin of the bride.

Serving as best man was Brandon Felton, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Clinton Watts and Mathew Triplett, cousins of the groom, and Adam Duncan, friend of the groom. Ring bearer was Jacob McMillen, friend of the bride.

A memorial candle was lit in memory of the couple’s late grandparents, Lambert M. Wagoner, Lester M. Sisk, George E. Wolfe and Edna M. Wolfe. A special reading for the couple was done by Bonnie Wagoner, aunt of the groom. Organist for the wedding ceremony was Heather Haines. Programs were distributed by Amanda Triplett, cousin of the groom. Bubbles were handed out by Madison Pfaff, Logan Pfaff, Camden Wilson and Sydney Wilson, all cousins of the bride.

Photography was provided by Don Brandt Photography. Video services were provided by J.R. Murray Productions. The wedding cake and personalized cookies were baked by M&M Bakery. Flowers were designed by Ted of PharmaCare Floral.

The bride and groom were driven to the reception by the bride’s parents in a 1930 Model A Ford provided by Randy and Donna Shaffer. The reception was held at the Cresaptown Eagles, where the food was prepared and served by the Cresaptown Eagles Auxiliary. A special thanks to Margie Anderson and Bev Warnick for all their help. The blessing at the reception was given by Brother Kevin Strong, uncle of the bride. The music and entertainment was provided by CJ’s Music Masters of Morgantown, W.Va.

Shane and Jessica enjoyed a honeymoon in Jamaica and now reside in Inwood, W.Va.
