FROSTBURG — One year ago on Aug. 2, 2008, Misty Dawn Kane and Benjamin Charles Benedict united in marriage. Fan programs were handed out at the ceremony by Haily Swisher. Music for the ceremony and reception was provided by DJ Scott Furey of Keyser. After the ceremony the bride and groom drove off in a golf cart to later meet their guests at the reception.
The couple enjoyed a three-tiered square white cake covered with white polka-dots and chocolate brown satin ribbon on the bottom of each layer. The top tier of the cake was embellished with the couple initials. The cake was made by Lorenzo's Bakery in Frostburg. The photography was by Marlee Fitzgerald of Life Images of Keyser.
