Campbell, Loudan wedding

Cumberland Times-News

WINCHESTER, Va. — On Sept. 15, 2007, Whitney Dru Loudan and Rev. Seth Michael Campbell were united in marriage in a delightful ceremony held at Victory Church, Winchester. The Rev. John May officiated the double ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Kevin and Belinda Loudan of Stephens City and the groom is the son of Brad and Sherry Campbell of Cumberland, Md.

Roses were placed on the altar in loving memory of John Loudan, grandfather of the bride, and Ben Tasker, dear friend of the groom.

The entrance of the bride was announced by Jonah Seagears, bell ringer. The bride proceeded to the altar amidst an aisle laden with tulle, orange rose petals, candles and lanterns, as the groom sang, “You Are So Beautiful To Me.”

Both the bride and groom were given in marriage by their parents. A welcome and prayer was given by the Rev. Kevin Dawson. The Rev. Rob Seagears presided over communion and the Rev. Keith Frix pronounced blessings written by the fathers. The couple created orange and blue sand art as a symbol of unity in marriage.

The bride wore a strapless gown with a satin, beaded bodice and full tulle skirt embellished with sparkling beads and a chapel length train. She carried a bouquet of orange and white tiger lilies.

Serving as maid of honor for her sister was Lauren Loudan, Stephens City, and Nicole Wallenfelsz, South Carolina, served as matron of honor. Kara Jenkins, cousin of the bride, Kasey Johnson, Kim Webster and Rachel Krikorian, friends of the bride, and Abbey Campbell, sister of the groom, served as bridesmaids. Reagan May was junior bridesmaid and Kate and Grace Dudley were flower girls. Olivia Engle served as the groom’s ring bearer and Ryder May as the bride’s ring bearer. Candle lighters were Ashley Legge and Ashley Thomason.

Serving as best man and best friend of the groom was Jonathon Moody, Washington, D.C. Inessa Owulette, Florida, attended the groom as lady of honor. Groomsmen were Jim Ferguson, Luis Miranda, Matt Ferhman, John Bentley, Jacob Wagner and Jeff Tasker. Ushers for the ceremony were Adam Daily, Bobby Seagears, Derek Showers and Joe Turley.

Guest book and program attendants were Erin Seagears and Corey Seymour. Music for the ceremony was provided by the Rev. John and Jamee Wood, Craig Burner and Meagan Seagears.

A reception at the church was hosted by the bride’s family and featured table centerpieces of hurricane bowls with goldfish and candles. An orange false ceiling with black and silver balloons highlighted the décor.

The couple were chauffeured to BWI Airport for a trip to Dunn’s River Villagio, Jamaica.

Whitney was entertained with a shower given by Lesley Jenkins and Becky Hockman at Sherando Park and one at Victory Church given by Dottie Carter.

Seth was entertained with a bachelor’s dinner and evening in Downtown D.C. given by Jon Moody and the groomsmen. The groom’s family hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Winchester Country Club.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Sherando High School and attended Lord Fairfax Community College. She is currently employed by American Eagle Outfitters in Manassas.

The groom is a 2000 graduate of Fort Hill High School and a 2005 graduate of Southeastern University, Lakeland, Fla. He serves as youth pastor at Mountaintop Christ Chapel Assembly of God, Gainesville.

Special thanks to wedding coordinator Denise May; reception coordinator Natalie Loudan; Rodney and Felicia Huff for sanctuary décor; Peggy Paige and Pat Benner for flowers; sound and video provided by Tim and Charlene Putprush; and reception master of ceremonies, the Rev. Andy Casper.
