CUMBERLAND — One year ago today, Saturday, June 23, 2012, Emily Deanne Kenney and Tye Emerson Miller were married at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Cumberland. The Rev. Edward C. Chapman officiated the ceremony.
Standing up for the couple were maid of honor Windy Yates and best man Marc Miller. Bridesmaids were April Kenney, Holly Burner, and Kelli Miller and groomsmen were Lucas Allen, Thad Burner, and Darron Jones. Cailyn Yates was flower girl Landon Baker was ring bearer.
A reception was held at the Allegany Museum in Cumberland.
The bride is the daughter of Ron and Lisa Allen of Springfield, W.Va., and Dean Watson of Morgantown, W.Va. She graduated from Shenandoah University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is employed as finance officer at Allegany County Department of Social Services.
The groom is the son of Diana Miller and the late Ralph Miller II of Cumberland. He is a graduate of Frostburg State University, where he received a bachelor of science degree in accounting, and the University of Phoenix, where he received a master of arts degree in teaching. He is employed as a teacher by the Allegany County Board of Education.
The couple reside in Cumberland.
