Alexandra Lane Hostetter becomes bride of George Albert Hatcher III

— EASTON — Alexandra Lane Hostetter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Damon Richard Hostetter of Wye Mills, and George Albert Hatcher III, son of Mr. and Mrs. George A. Hatcher  Jr. of Easton, were married on July 6, 2013, at 3 p.m. The ceremony was held at Christ Episcopal Church in Easton, with the Rev. Dr. William J. Ortt officiating. A reception was held at Talbot Country Club, also in Easton.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Colleen Catherine O’Brien of Brewster, Mass., as maid of honor. Lynn Brugh Hatcher of Easton, sister of the groom; Elizabeth Marie Stiles of Darnestown; Elizabeth “Bet-sy” Grace Urso of Easton; Jessica Anne Calvert of Oxford; and Erin Cathell Burgin of Atlantic Beach, Fla., were bridesmaids.

The best man was Graham Cox Ward of Oxford. Groomsmen were Nathanial Storm Hostetter of Wye Mills, brother of the bride; Kyle McDonald Leppert of Baltimore; Keith O’Hara Hinder of Bel Air; Ryan Joseph Laughna of Westwood, Mass.; and Jamieson Thomas Powell of Jackson, Wyo.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of SS. Peter and Paul High School and a 2008 graduate of Elon University. She received a bachelor of arts degree in international studies and political science. Alexandra is employed as the public grants officer at the Chesapeake Bay Foundation in Annapolis. Her maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. James Joseph Ortiz of Cumberland.

Mr. Hatcher is a 2003 graduate of SS. Peter and Paul High School and a 2007 graduate of Gettysburg College. He re-ceived a bachelor of arts degree in political science and history. George is employed as a senior associate at ICF International. His maternal grandmother is Jane Lakin Hershey of Williamsport and his paternal grandmother is Mary Stuart Uhl of Easton.

The couple honeymooned in Turkey in September. They reside in Washington, D.C., with their golden retriever, Rudder.
