Salonish, Nored wedding

— AVIANO, Italy — Tech. Sgt. Adam Salonish and Airman 1st Class Stacy Nored were united in marriage July 14, 2011, in Aviano, Italy.

In an outdoor garden wedding ceremony on  Oct. 8, 2011, at al Giardino in Fanna, Italy, the bride and groom shared their love for each other, witnessed by more than 50 friends and family. Chaplain Wells officiated the ceremony and Stacy was given in marriage by retired United States Marine Sgt. Maj. Donald J. Johnson and Marsha Johnson, parents of the groom.

The wedding party was maid of honor Glera Jupiter and best man Joey Chastian; bridesmaids Rebecca Salonish and Nicole Mosley and groomsmen John Rucker and Michael Vu. The flower girl was McKayla Chastian and ring bearer was Austin Cummins.

A formal dinner and reception immediately followed the ceremony inside the al Giardino Ristorante. Ty Evans provided ceremonial music and DJ entertainment. Ms. Erin Murry made a three-tier wedding cake and groom’s cake, and Gracey Martinez decorated the gift table. The al Giardino staff served a five-course gourmet meal, complete with a traditional Italian wedding cake.

Both airmen reside in Italy and are stationed at Aviano Air Force Base. Salonish graduated from Hyndman High School in 1998 and is the grandson of Kenneth and Betty Emerick of Hyndman, Pa.

The couple sends greetings and thanks to all the family and friends from Hyndman, Pa., and Cumberland, Md., for the well-wishes.
