CUMBERLAND - Janice Elizabeth Morgan, 56, of Cumberland, died on Monday, May 12, 2008, at her home.
Born Aug. 3, 1951, in Alexandria, Va., she was the daughter of the late Mabel Octavia (James) Hagen. Mrs. Morgan was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Morgan.
Mrs. Morgan retired from Safeway Foods as the Deli Department Manager.
She is survived by her son, Larry E. Absher and his wife Mary, of Cumberland; her sister, Judy K. Ball and her special friend, Lee Hutchinson, of Burke, Va.; and her grandchildren, Joshua, Morgan, and Nicole Absher.
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, (AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com) on Thursday, May 15, 2008, from 7 to 9 p.m.
A graveside service will be conducted at the National Memorial Park/King David Memorial Gardens on Friday, May 16, 2008, at 11:30 a.m., with the Rev. Raymond Brooks officiating.
