Potomac St. women down Butler, 51-34

BUTLER, Pa. - Potomac State remained unbeaten at 4-0 in the Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference and are 4-5 out of the league for an overall mark of 8-5. Potomac State will play again on Wednesday, at home, against Westmoreland College.
Amanda McKim scored a game-high 18 points in the victory, and Ashley Heavner recorded a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Denise Johnson finished with 12 points, seven rebounds, six assists, and four steals. Julieanne Buckley finished with 11 boards and nine points.
"I'll never talk bad about a win, especially one in conference, but we are still trying to get back in game shape," said head coach Jim Walton. "We've been a little off since returning from break."
Butler's Samantha Karns scored 17 points, but the Pioneers were held to 13 points in the second half.
