Lady Trojans hammer Prince George's, 76-38

UPPER MARLBORO - Allegany College made 34 field goals and had 29 assists as the Trojans knocked off Prince George's and handed the Owls their first Maryland JUCO Conference loss, 76-38, on Wednesday night.
Melissa Ford and Jennifer Willis led the Trojans by scoring 17 points each. Willis added seven rebounds, and Jasmine Blanks finished with 12 points, eight assists and three steals. Kacey Kahl led the team with 12 rebounds to go with her four points and three steals.
"It was a good road win for us," said Allegany coach Jerry Rice. "PG had won eight straight and was first in the conference, so it was nice to bring a team down. We have some girls from the Prince George's area so it's nice to see them play well in front of fans and family."
Tamika Jeffries scored 13 points for the Owls.
Allegany (12-1, 5-1 JUCO) will play at Howard on Saturday at 2 p.m. in its third straight conference road game.
