Lady Bobcats lose

FROSTBURG - Pitt-Greensburg built a double-figure lead in the opening minutes and never looked back in defeating Frostburg State, 71-42, in an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference game Wednesday night.

Amanda Sheaffer scored 16 points in leading Pitt-Greensburg (14-4 overall, 8-3 AMCC), which led 36-12 at the half.

Mercedes White led Frostburg State (5-13, 2-9) with 13 points and seven rebounds, and Elizabeth Carrington had 12 points and four steals.

FSU plays at conference-leading Medaille on Saturday at 1 o'clock.
