Frostburg State women lose to Medaille, 56-38

BUFFALO, N.Y. - Amanda Walling had 12 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and three steals as conference-leading Medaille beat Frostburg State 56-38.

Medaille (18-1 overall, 12-0 AMCC), which led 33-15 at halftime, swept the season series from the Bobcats (5-14, 2-10).

Freshman Elizabeth Carrington hit 8 of 11 shots from the field and scored a game-high 16 points and four steals for Frostburg State. Jaime Morningstar added six points, eight rebounds and three assists. Shanell Williams grabbed 10 rebounds.

Medaille led by as many as 34 points in the second half. The Bobcats finished the game on a 19-3 run.

Frostburg State plays at La Roche on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
