Frostburg State women lose to Mt. Aloysius, 72-56

CRESSON, Pa. - Lindsey Bush and Brianna Baker combined for 42 points as Mt. Aloysius snapped Frostburg State's three-game winning streak in an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference game Wednesday night.

Bush shot 9-for-16 from the field and had 22 points while Baker was 8-for-11 from the floor and made all four of her foul shots for 20 points. Baker also had seven rebounds and six steals for the Mounties (13-10, 8-9).

Mercedes White was 7-for-10 from the field and tied a career high with 19 points for Frostburg (8-16, 5-12. Amanda LaPorta added 13 points and three steals and Jaime Morningstar nine points and seven rebounds.

Mt. Aloysius led 33-25 at halftime, shot 54 percent (15-for-28) from the field in the second half, and led by 25 midway through the half. The closest the Bobcats got the rest of the way was the final score.

FSU hosts Lake Erie in its regular-season finale Saturday at 1 p.m.
