Unselfish Trojans blast Pitt-Titusville

TITUSVILLE, Pa. - Allegany College of Maryland's unselfish play attributed to 27 assists on 35 field goals and a 22-0 run to start the game as Allegany parlayed a 45-11 lead at halftime into a 76-30 win Tuesday night.

The Troajns jumped out to a 22-0 lead through the first nine minutes and kept the pressure going on both sides of the ball.

Kacey Kahl was one of three Trojans in double digits with 18 points. Jasmine Blanks and Melissa Ford scored 14 points as 10 players reached the scoring column.

Ford and Blanks finished with six rebounds, and Shannon Washington had a team-high eight boards. Blanks led the squad with seven assists, and Kahl added five steals.

Brianna Hamilton led Titusville with 14 points.

ACM (8-1) will play one final game before Christmas break, on Friday at Northern Virginia Comminuty College.
