Northern wrestlers win pair at Keyser

KEYSER, W.Va. - Northern got past Keyser 39-25 before the whipping Preston 66-18 to go unbeaten in a Wednesday evening tri-match in Keyser.
All but one Husky got a win by pinfall in the match with Preston.
Northern won six consecutive weight classes, starting with 112 where Andrew Reynolds won in 1:22. Josh Duckworth took the 119 division in just 36 seconds, Jason Warnick needed only 27 to win the 125 and Corey Sebold won in the 130-class. Adam Moranduzzo (135) and Dylan Day (140) finished the run.
After a loss in the 145 match, Northern's Andrew Ganoe (152), Dustin Stough (160), Jason Opel (171) and Ryan Finzel (189) all won with pins. Alex Ruff won by forfeit at 215.
Reynolds and Duckworth earned decisions in their matches against Keyser, while Kameron Kamp won the 103-pound class with a 7-0 decision.
Moranduzzo pinned his opponent in 3:07, and Ganoe and Stough got pinfalls as well. Opel won a 7-0 decision at 171.
Keyser winners included Brandon Harris (125), who won a 10-4 decision; Tommy Stark, who won the 130 division in 48 seconds; and Blake Mangold won the 152 in 1:15. Jordan Mellotte (189) won a 13-5 decision and Aaron Nelson (285) pinned his opponent in 45 seconds.
Stough and Ganoe remain the only undefeated Northern wrestlers.
The Huskies (10-3) will wrestle again at Southern on Tuesday at 7:30.
