Mountain Ridge pins Keyser, 56-15

FROSTBURG - Mountain Ridge won 11 matches, with seven coming on pins, in a 56-15 victory over visiting Keyser on Tuesday evening.
Glenn Johnson (112), Aaron Patterson (135), Stephen Whetstone (140), Brandon Kyle (160), Justin Blubaugh (171), Nathan Payne (215) and Derrick Sisk (285) recorded the pins for Mountain Ridge, which improved its record to 19-2. Whetstone's pin came the quickest, in 42 seconds.
Ryan Clark (119) scored technical fall, and Cody Clise (125), Josh Guy (152) and Noah DeVore (189) won decisions.
For Keyser, Colby Kiggins (103) and Tommy Stark (130) won with pins and Blake Mongold (145) won a decision.
Mountain Ridge wrestles again Friday, at Southern, in a 6 p.m. tri-match with Southern and South Carroll.
