CUMBERLAND — Authorities said Friday that one or more people forced entry into a shed located in the 600 block of Wellington Lane east of Cumberland and stole two dirt bikes with a combined value in excess of $4,600.
The crime was committed on private property off Bedford Road between Sunday and Monday, according to a news release from Combined County Criminal Investigation.
A 2006 blue Yamaha 125 and a 2005 red Honda CRF 150 were taken. Both cycles’ vehicle identification numbers are known and have been reported as stolen in a national database.
Anyone with information about the theft is asked to contact Crime Solvers at (301) 722-4300. Callers do not have to give their name or appear in court.
A cash reward of up to $1,500 is being offered to callers who provide information leading to the arrest of the responsible person(s).
