KEYSER, W.Va. — Potomac State College of West Virginia University will present its annual Christmas Concert on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in the Church-McKee Arts Center auditorium.

The concert is open to the public free of charge.

The show will consist of the PSC-Community Chorus and the PSC-Community Band. The chorus is under the direction of David Rankin and will be accompanied by John Hawkins, professor of music at the college, at the piano. The band is under the direction of Roger Walker.

The chorus will present a varied program including the “Spirit of the Season” from “The Polar Express,” “Blow, Blow, Thou Winter Wind” by John Rutter, and Gustav Holst’s “Four Old English Carols.” Some of the only Christmas music composed by Johann Sebastian Bach’s last and least-known (fictional) offspring, P.D.Q. Bach, will be performed as well.
