FROSTBURG — FrostburgFirst is planning for a fall Arts Walk in downtown Frostburg on Oct. 18 from 4 to 7 p.m.

The organization invites artists, musicians, performers and creators in all mediums to share their talents. Designed to be a self-guided walking arts tour, artists are partnered with downtown businesses to display and sell their works. The cost to participate is discounted for students, and free for FrostburgFirst artist members.

Artists willing to give demonstrations throughout the day and musical/theatrical performers will be offered special consideration.

The event will include a community art project and custom clothing class led by local artist and muralist Parris Ashley, a panel of childrens’ book authors at Curtis & Grammy’s Kind Kids, live music throughout town and other activities.

Spaces are limited and will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis. To qualify for the Arts Walk, any items sold must be created by the artist. Applications must be submitted by Sept. 27 to ensure consideration.
