UPMC Western Maryland staff display the homemade Christmas cards they received from Bishop Walsh School Religion, Life Skills and Spartan Serve students in appreciation of their service, especially during the holidays. From the left are Bruce McBride, director, pastoral care; Marie Busserd, Progressive Care Unit nurse manager; and Anita Dolly, PCU health unit coordinator. “We didn’t have time to decorate our unit for the holidays; however, we did post these on our bulletin board so everyone could see the beautiful cards and read the heartfelt messages,” Busserd said. Cards were also delivered to two COVID units.
