FROSTBURG — Frostburg State University’s chapter of Colleges Against Cancer recently won two regional awards in the South Atlantic Division. The chapter won the Best Survivor Program 2007 Faculty/Staff Breakfast of Champions honoring cancer survivors and the Chapter of the Year for its 2008 relay program and projects.

The FSU CAC chapter raised $34,000 for the 2008 Relay for Life and has set a goal of $40,000 for 2009. Tonecia Hargrove, chapter president, and other student leaders are already planning the 2009 Relay for Life event April 24 at Bobcat Stadium.
