CUMBERLAND — Archway Station Inc. is using a custom electronic health records system provided by Willetts Tech.
Archway is a private nonprofit corporation that provides psychiatric rehabilitative services to adults recovering from serious mental illness and services to adults with developmental disabilities. It also serves children overcoming serious emotional and/or behavioral problems. Even though Archway Station has grown in its 40 years of operation, it has used a manual paper/pencil system. Knowing that technology provides both increased access and safety and security, the leadership team began searching for an information technology vendor that could create an online platform to meet its needs.
The custom EHR system will serve as the Archway clients record database. The system is called PUPS, which stands for Providing You Practical Solutions. Key features include: web-based interface compliant with federal privacy regulations, online/offline capability, medication management, billing integration, client documentation management and e-sign.
Ultimately, the Archway team is hoping that the PUPS EHR will not only improve access but also reduce medication and billing errors.
