EVERETT, Pa. — Della Watters of WattersWorks & Co. of Everett was named a bronze medalist during Professional Photographers of America’s 2019 International Photographic Competition.

Eight of Watters’ winning images will be on display at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville in an international photographic exhibit to be held in January in conjunction with Imaging USA, an annual convention and expo for professional photographers.

A panel of 32 jurors from across the U.S. selected the top photographs from 5,245 entries at Gwinnett Technical College in Georgia. Watters was named a bronze medalist by earning four merits — a mark of quality and honor — for each of the four images included in her artist case with another four meriting in the photographic open and wedding categories.

Watters is a certified professional photographer and serves on the executive board of governors for Professional Photographers of Pennsylvania. She specializes in weddings, portraits and event photography.
