CUMBERLAND — BlaineTurner Advertising, a full-service marketing and public relations agency, has recognized client Western Maryland Health System for winning silver in the branded entertainment category for video at the 14th annual W3 Awards.

The W3 Awards is judged and overseen by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, an invitation-only body consisting of top-tier professionals from a “Who’s Who” of acclaimed media, advertising and marketing firms.

BlaineTurner Advertising filmed and produced a 30-second television spot for the WMHS Emergency Department as part of the “Higher Level of Emergency Care” campaign. The television spot addresses commonly asked questions that patients have for the emergency department. The campaign hopes to give patients a better understanding of the triage process and set expectations for when to visit the emergency department as opposed to an urgent care clinic.

Receiving over 5,000 entries from across the globe, the W3 Awards honors outstanding websites, web marketing, web video, mobile sites/apps and social content created worldwide.
