CUMBERLAND — An Augusta, West Virginia, man was charged Friday with two counts of drug possession after police reportedly found a suspected baggie of heroin in his possession. 

Richard Lee Damewood II, 32, was also charged with possession of CDS paraphernalia. 

Cumberland Police made the arrest after being called to the area of Marion Street at Baltimore Avenue to investigate a complaint of a vehicle involved with possbile drug activity.

In addition to the heroin, police also reportedly found two capped syringes and a container with five Oxymorphone pills.

Damewood was held Saturday in the Allegany County Detention Center on $3,000 bond.
